Commenting serves to help develop one's knowledge of diverse views on various issues from the most basic opinions as whose film is the best of the whole year or even the necessities for reform in education. By openly communicating in a blog setting one can learn from and educate others and develop a sense of community that would otherwises be restricted because of geographical barriers or privacy concerns.
Comments should never be vulgar or alienating towards any group of people. One should always treat the comments of other's with respect and not to flame a situation into a confrontation via written language. "Trolling" or harrassing others in a blog is entirely bad in taste and civility. Be polite and treat others with respect and poise.
The five blogs I selected from our were Ashley Paul, Maria Donald, BSmith, Abby Smith, and Derek Carroll's. I selected them at random with the exception of two. I selected Ashley Paul and BSmith's blogs since they were kind enough to comment on mine. The other two blogs of my choice were www.trueghosttales.com/paranormal/ and www.technologytell.com/gaming/. I selected this two for my passion for the paranormal and gaming world. With the blogs involoving the class, I commented on the experience of making the blog and the avatars that accompany them. The final two of my choosing on treghosttales.com I commented on a man's experience as a child who had a run in with an unknown winged creature by informing him of family's history of paranormal incidences. On technologytell.com I had to vent my frustration concerning the 10th anniversary release of Kingdoms Hearts which is only for the 3DS and consists of perhaps the worse games ever made.
I commented quite positively on the blogs on those that concerned the class. Ashley Paul's for example I commented on the similiar beliefs that we had for blogs as tools to inform students of homework and class schedule changes. On my two personally picked blogs of interest I was able to be less formal and more of myself with dealing with topics that I have a real passion for: the supernatural and gaming.
